4,000 Freshly Baked Easter Paskas

On Easter, the “Food Without Borders” food truck operated in the Sumy region — an area that feels the impact of war every day.

The team baked and distributed paskas not just as a festive treat, but as an expression of care and love — for displaced people, elderly individuals left alone, and families with children living in difficult conditions.

Paskas were also sent to residents of the Kherson and Chernihiv regions.

Project "Food Without Borders" (FoodTruck)

The "Food Without Borders" FoodTruck project is a mobile kitchen capable of preparing up to 5,000 meals per day!
In border and frontline areas, as well as disaster zones, FoodTruck chefs and volunteers will be there to provide hot meals for those in need.

Rapid Response Volunteer Group Work

On January 3, 2025, Russians launched a brutal attack on Chernihiv with three ballistic missiles. Civilians were affected, and about a dozen buildings were damaged.

Our team gathered immediately after the explosions and rushed to the impact site to provide assistance. We served hot meals, tea, and other support to the affected people, police, and rescuers. The next day, the team also joined efforts to clear the rubble.

OHMATDYT

Together with Kyiv’s headquarters of volunteers, we were helping in the territory of the Okhmatdyt hospital.
For 3 days, from morning till night, the foundation’s team was on the territory of the tragedy, helping to clear the debris and feeding the rescuers.
Thousands of sandwiches, portions of hot food, and hundreds of liters of drinking water were distributed on the territory of the hospital to rescuers.

BRINGING JOY TO CHILDREN

We prepared and delivered gifts to children in the families of internally displaced persons in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Donetsk region, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Kryvyi Rih.

HELPING CHERNIHIV REGION

When we arrived in the first village of the Novobiloruska community, we realized that the occupiers had looted stores, homes, and taken livestock. People were forbidden to leave their homes.

Over 10 months, we covered almost the entire Chernihiv region, visiting every village from 3 to 12 times.

REBUILDING UKRAINE

Since the beginning of de-occupation, part of our team has been helping people by boarding up windows with plastic, clearing debris, removing trash, and cutting down fallen trees.
In total, within the project:

150windows were boarded up with plastic
467 debris piles were cleared
117houses were partially restored (roofs, roofs + windows)
10 sites totaling 2,000 square meters of roofs were fully restored, and some buildings were partially rebuilt.

SEEDS OF VICTORY

After the de-occupation of Chernihiv region, in addition to the shortage of food, there was a problem with the lack of seeds for planting.

We provided seeds to farmers and residents across almost the entire region, especially in the de-occupied areas. Additionally, we extended support to Sumy, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.
In total, within the project:

30 000seed kits were distributed to the population
70 tons of seeds were delivered to farmers and civilians in 2023

AID TO BAKHMUT

In our interim projects, our team supported with vehicles, food. We traveled to Bakhmut, envisioning it as a fortress city in the future.

LIBERATION OF KHERSON

This was a long-awaited trip for many.
The entire team joined in. We were eager to help because we understood the severity of the situation, having experienced it ourselves. The city had nothing: no electricity, water, gas, heat, or communication. We knew what kind of help people needed most urgently: food packages, fuel, gas cylinders, hygiene products, drinking water, and of course, treats for the children.

TERRORIST ATTACK AT THE KAKHOVKA DAM

Nineteen trucks of drinking water and five trucks of food were delivered to Kherson city and the Kherson region a week after the disaster. These supplies were provided to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), evacuees, utility workers, and residents of the village of Antonivka, who were left without basic services.
